In the New Digs!

As we all know, the best laid plans never go as planned. What was supposed to be a well-organized and simple process, turned out to be anything but. As you can see from the picture at the left, our warehouse only had rubber flooring installed in 1/2 of the area. The plan was to have the complete warehouse rubber flooring installed PRIOR to us moving in.

It didn't work out that way. The flooring got held up in shipping, and so when we moved in, we had to pile everything on one side of the warehouse. The next day they installed 1/2 the floor, we had to wait 24 hours, then move EVERYTHING over to the other side of the warehouse so they could install the other 1/2 of the floor. But Wait! We also needed to have it sealed, so they sealed that 1/2 of the floor, we waited 24 hours and had to move EVERYTHING to the other side, so they could seal the 2nd 1/2 of the floor. Then, finally 24 hours later, we could then move everything into place. Whewww!

In the meantime, we had to unpack and move into the office area. Here is Lucho setting up his new office.








Lisa FINALLY gets a window office. After living in a dungeon for the last 3.5 years (with no windows), Lisa is VERY happy to have two walls of sunny windows. Here is Lisa with her "temporary" desk, as her original desk didn't fit in this office.

That of course opened a whole new can of worms. Our next move was to disassemble our home office and move it to the new space. Yet another move (which left our house in shambles). However, we now have a complete office for Lisa, a complete desk set-up for the Shipping Department, and a complete desk set-up for the Technical Department. It all worked out in the end.

We still have another 2 moves in front of us. We have more workout equipment moving in, and the remaining remnants of the Florida house will move from our warehouse into our home.

Just a few more weekends worth of work ahead of us. Maybe then we can actually go to a movie or something.

All's Well in Love and Moving!!

Somehow we survived at least 8 moves in the last 8 weeks. Yes, you read that right - 8 moves!!

The great news is that we are FINALLY getting settled in our NEW offices in Irvine, California. As with any move, it had it's challenges, and we survived!

Here is Lucho, packing up his old office.


We boxed up everything we could and had it ready to go in the warehouse.







Our movers were Great!! They were on time, efficient, careful and very prepared. I know this is a rarity, so we felt very fortunate. They came in right on time and on budget. At least that part was smooth sailing.









The movers were also quite the jokesters! Here is "Bob" hamming it up for the camera.










First look at the new space. Well at least everything was in the right area. Again, the movers did a great job of disbursing everything where it was meant to be.
